Your Role: What You’ll Do

As a Triage Specialist, you are the first expert eye on incoming reports. You assess and validate the reported vulnerabilities, determine their severity, and ensure clear communication and quality throughout the triage process. You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, in both spoken and written form.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Analyse incoming security findings and bug reports for severity, impact, and relevance.

  • Determine risk levels using industry standards (e.g. CVSS).

  • Validate reproducibility and technical details of submissions.

  • Track and document triage outcomes across our platforms (ZC.Next, Jira, etc).

  • Communicate clearly with researchers and clients on progress and resolution.

  • Contribute to quality guidelines, triage standards, and process documentation.

  • Identify trends and inefficiencies, and propose process/tooling improvements.

  • Work closely with ethical hackers, customer success, and platform engineers.

Your Profile

Education & Certifications

  • MBO+, Bachelor’s or equivalent in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Certifications like OSCP, CPTS, CWES, BSCP, PJPT are a plus.

  • Experience with bug bounty or vulnerability coordination platforms (e.g. HackerOne, Bugcrowd, Zerocopter) is a strong advantage.

Technical Expertise

  • Understanding of OWASP Top 10, CVSS, vulnerability management practices.

  • Familiarity with security testing tools (e.g., Burpsuite)

  • Basic knowledge of networking, web and mobile applications, Linux & Windows environments.

Soft Skills

  • Analytical and detail-oriented — you spot false positives fast.

  • Strong communication skills (English & Dutch required).

  • Able to stay calm under pressure and act decisively.

  • Team player with a high sense of responsibility and integrity.
