As a Medior Pentester at Zerocopter, you are part of a fast-growing cybersecurity company operating at the intersection of platform-driven security and expert-led testing. You work within our Operations circle, alongside ethical hackers, developers, and assessment leads. This is where execution happens - where real security challenges are solved, and where our promises to clients turn into tangible outcomes.
You independently perform security assessments across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments. At the same time, you help clients understand what matters, what to fix, and why. Your base location is flexible. We work hybrid by default, with regular presence in Groningen for team rhythm and client interaction.
Performing security assessment (web, mobile, infrastructure, cloud) based on best practices and your own expertise
Writing clear, actionable reports with concrete recommendations
Advising clients during and after assessments
Supporting and mentoring junior pentesters
Contributing to the development of tooling, methodology and services
Sharing knowledge within the team and the wider community
Participating in research initiatives
Your Profile
Education & Certifications
At least 2 years of experience in pentesting (web, infra and/or cloud)
A completed HBO or WO degree in IT, cybersecurity or a related field
OSCP certification (required); OSCE / CRTO is a plus
Skills & experience
Experience with offensive tooling such as Burp Suite and, Kali Linux
Programming/scripting skills (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Experience with vulnerability scoring using CVSS 3.1
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
A combination of ownership, analytical thinking and team spirit
The ability to work hybrid and switch between projects with clarity and focus
