Our game teaches your team all about the awareness and action that is required to keep security on top of mind, whilst at the same time exposes those who are slacking. The objective of the game is to snitch on coworkers, how cool is that?
Snatch a batchThe Rules
All the rules must be explained with all participants in the room. And choose a fixed period of time for the duration of the game. It could be a day, a week, a month or even a year.
Choosing the Triage
Choose someone or a group as Triage Team. They are the security frontrunners by acting as treasurer and judging evidence of whether or not anyone deserves a Bug or Bounty card.
Claiming your First Bounty
Did you spot a security bug? Show your evidence to the Triage Team and claim your bounty. Your colleague that is convicted of the ‘security crime’ receives that Bug Card –as a reminder and token of wrongdoing– from said Triage Team.
Turning the Tables
A Bug is never out of play. Players can keep claiming the Bounty at the Triage Team for the same Bug when they come across it. That means the crime can be committed over and over again –and the Bounty claimed over and over again– until money runs out.
Game Over
At the end, either when the time is up or money is spent, the person with the highest amount of bounties collected wins! The idiot with the most Bug cards on his desk deserves only the most intense ignore-treatment your parents used to be good at. Optional: make them wear a stupid hat for a week.
Be the best snitch you can be!
